Growth in Sales: From 4 to 20 $millions

The sales targets of 1998-2012 were met and exceeded every year. The implementation of the Master Plan of 1998 for Switzerland formed the basis for the position’s task. The establishment and consolidation of all education activities in one functional unit combined with the aim to massively increase the turnover, sales and acceptance of Microsoft products and services in public schools and in the university market. Sales growth achieved in in the years 1998-2012 increased from $4 million to $20 million. More than 300,000 desktops in this segment will be licensed in Switzerland by the end of 2012. The result of these sales and communication events certified Microsoft as a “Trusted Advisor in Education” as of the end of 2012.
